Interpreting Graphs with Ease! (HS)

$0.00

Uniform motion means the object is traveling the same distance during repeating time intervals, like a driver using cruise control on a car. Nonuniform motion is when the object travels different distances during repeating time intervals. This lesson provides background knowledge to help teachers understand how those “mysterious” physics equations are derived, how to measure speed of a tumble buggy (uniform) and ask to compare to acceleration (nonuniform)

Description

Students will
•develop the relationship between a uniform motion car and a displacement vs time graph.
•learn how graphs form the basis for equations students will learn in other STEM classes.
